In this game, the Russian Federation has been taken over by ultranationalists led by Vladimir Makarov, who commits international terrorism to further his cause. for his war-time bravery, Private First Class Joseph Allen of the U.S. Army Rangers is assigned to Task Force 141, a select group of commandos working to bring Makarov down. With missions with varying difficulties based in locations as diverse as Central Asia, Russia and South America, the game's visual depth is sure to keep you amazed and your heart pounding. Meant only for grown-ups, this is one of the few adult video games that stands out as a masterpiece.
The game play of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 PlayStation 3 allows you to pick between going solo in a campaign, using help in co-operative and a whole host of options in multiplayer. Your objectives, direction and distance from objective and health level are indicated on the head-up display for easy visibility and access. A player may use a variety of weapons and explosives to do a number of tasks like defend positions, invade bases, destroy enemy installations, etc. You are also joined by friendly troops who help you with your objectives. Throughout the campaign you will come across enemy laptops that contain enemy reports and intelligence. Meant for die hard action games fans, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for PS3 is a game you will love.

A direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, you now play new character Sgt Gary "Roach" Sanderson. Your commander is "Soap" from the first game as you join a multinational anti-terrorist squad out to stop Russian ultra nationalists. The story mode features an even more varied series of locales than before, including a snowbound mission that starts with a daredevil mountain climb and ends with a high speed snowmobile chase as you make your escape. With other levels set in Afghanistan, Rio de Janeiro and even underwater this has more action than a dozen Hollywood blockbusters. But that is just the single player mode - the multiplayer is even more ground-breaking than before, with new co-op options and even more rewards and perks for competitive play.
